Spaces of the living are fluid without strict separation. The rather important height under ceiling (2,70m) of the old offices leaves freedom work on the shape of the false ceilings. The care to treat until the details of the sanitary appliances gives an indication of quality to the future purchasers.

The works are located in the underground of the cinema UGC. From the outside you can see the parking exits for pedestrians. These outputs are not automatically closed by a door.

Voids along the facade facing the street Léon Blum allow natural ventilation of parking but also a source of inadequacy (throwing objects, trash, …) and insecurity. The aim is to secure the parking by creating a protection while keeping the natural ventilation. Using materials recalling the elements on the existing facades (horizontal metal siding, metal panels smooth) integrates the vertical elements of protection with the emergency exit doors (same material and same color).

The grid welded is a new item near the expanded metal on the existing facades. Its use in the basement allows for secure access to parking without altering its natural ventilation. The facade of the main entrance of the cinema is not changed except for the elevator.

CRISTAL AB’s mission is to provide a landscaping project adapted (several versions have been proposed in the study) and follow the administrative procedures (DP, AT). Project management work is carried out by Cibat Engineering.
